My Journey from UI/UX Design to Full Stack Development
23 Jul 2026
When I first started out, I was drawn to design — the colors, the layouts, the way a good interface just feels right to use. Over time, I realized that designing something beautiful wasn't enough; I wanted to bring those designs to life myself.
That curiosity led me into web development. I started learning Python and Django, and slowly began connecting the dots between what I designed in Figma and what I could actually build and deploy. Today, I work across both worlds — designing user experiences and developing the systems that power them.
This portfolio itself is a reflection of that journey: designed from scratch in Figma across 40 screens, then built and deployed using Django. It's proof that design and development aren't separate skills — they work best together.
I'm also currently expanding into Data Science, because I believe understanding data will only make me a better designer and developer — helping me build products that are not just usable, but genuinely useful.
